36x79.5x1.75 Vintage Antique Old Wood Wooden Exterior Entry Door Window Glass
36"x79.5"x1.75 Vintage Solid Wood Door w/Single Glass Window. Handsome, vintage, wooden, entry door salvaged from an old home in Southeastern MN. It's made of solid Douglas Fir or pine and is painted on the front and stained on the back.
It has a 3/4-length window with glass and a raised panel below. Today, "pine" is known as a cheap, weak, soft wood. New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees doesn't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old has. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine.
Hardware : The door is not equipped with any hardware. The door is strong, sturdy, and in great structural condition. It only has nicks and scratches, but no breaks, cracks, gouges, rot, warp, or any other serious issues. Most of the blemishes that it ha.
S will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks". The glass is intact and also in great shape with only light scratches. Swing : The door is set up to swing into the home towards the left or away towards the right.
