30x79.5 Antique Vintage SOLID Wood Wooden Exterior Entry Door Window Wavy Glass
30"x79.5" Antique Front Entry Door 4 Windows w/ Wavy Glass & 3 Panels. Handsome, antique, exterior door salvaged from an 1889 home in Northeastern, PA (see last photos). The door is made of solid Douglas fir or pine and is stained on one side and painted on the other side. When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, and soft wood. New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees doesn't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old.
Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine. 4, true-divided windows with old, wavy glass. There are 3 raised panels below the glass (on both sides). Hardware : The door is not equipped with any hardware. Strong, sturdy, and in good structural condition.
It only has nicks and scratches, but no broken or cracked joints, gouges, rot, warp, or any other serious issues. Most of the blemishes that it ha. S will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks". Ll of the glass is intact and also in great condition with only subtle scratches. Swing : The door is set up to swing into a home towards the right or away from the home towards the left. However, we can modify it to swing in the opposite direction-- message us for a quote. We could also modify this door to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could make a frame, trim or add to the height or width, replace glass with screen, reverse the swing, plug the hardware holes, etc. Door : 29 3/4 " x 79 5/8 " x 1 1/4. Windows : 10 " W x 17 " H.
